Many Global Governments continue to be disrespectful to the Youth Population around the world by doing very little for us. As young people, let us refuse to let that happen anymore!
Let me pay special KUDOS to those governments who are really trying. Keep it up!
On the historic launch on this my Youth Advocate Blog, I am calling on young people here and sundry to begin to hold your local governments accountable in the next election in your country. Choose to elect the party or Prime Minister or President or Mayor or Governor that has our BEST INTERESTS at heart.
Haven't you noticed? Many goverments and leaders when elected, look for the needs of the older population and help us out when they need our vote. May I note here, that some governments try their UTMOST best to really keep our interests at heart. Cheers to You Again!
Many of the uprisings around the world are as a result of young people tired of not being cared for and suppressed over the years. Let the politicians know that WE HAVE THE POWER IN OUR VOTE and we are holding them accountable from today.
Young People Around The World, Let us refuse to keep those we put there to SERVE us - not work for us. Let us always remember that we put them their to WORK FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE TOO and when workers refuse to WORK - We Fire Them!
We're tired now! Young People Around The World Need Help! Need Jobs! Need Innovative Representatives! Need Creative Funding Alternatives! Need Business Help! Need A Backer! And the List Goes On?
When last did your representative call you, or send a letter or email to checkup on you as a young person? But. . . .They lived on their feet and so did their campaign folks when they needed you to vote for them RIGHT?
These are the questions we have to ask. We can no longer VOTE for who our parents and grandparents VOTED for, if that party doesn't have our INTERESTS at heart. The interests of the YOUTH!
Do some research over the next couple days for yourself. Are there any YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES on many of the boards in your country's governments? I'm sure you'll find very few. That means they have brushed our wisdom and innovation aside and just use us for our X on the ballots. NOT FAIR!
I am sure we have enough WISE YOUTH in every country in the world to form GOVERMENTS that will really work and deliver. All we lack is the FUNDING....because the older ones have it. Choose leaders who have GREAT vision for the YOUTH and the more mature too.
When we meet government and opposition representatives at PRESS CONFERENCES - Youth Reporters must ask them the QUESTIONS that pertain to US and take note of their responses and publish them. Ask them WHAT ARE THEIR PLANS FOR THE YOUTH?
We must use our EYES and BRAINS for ourselves or end up DOOMED! Remember - Choose Leaders who ACKNOWLEDGE that without GOD, a nation is doomed. Choose leaders who are NOT BRUSHING GODLY principles aside and standing on those of the enemy.
Let us all remember to INTERCEDE for those in office and seeking office, because just as in Bible days, wrong leaders bring DOOM to nations.
YOUTH - The Power is in OUR HANDS! Remember - Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
